Wood Stool

During my first year of studies, I was asked to design a generic bar stool, which is found in many of the bars and restaurants in Tel-Aviv, and to give my own new interpretation to that local stool.
The word ‘local’ sent me immediately to the “kibbutz”, where I grew up.
I looked at the water tower and the simplicity of the kibbutz.
A scenery that inspired me.
The combination of the natural color of the oak tree and the touch of blue from the water tower are connected with my memories from home.
I acted out of a desire to create pleasant proportions that combines the memory of simplicity and familiarity.
